Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 28, 2026

1. Who We Are
Vezlo operates the Vezlo app and is the controller of the personal information described here. Contact Vezlo at Vezlo@gmail.com. Use of the app is also governed by our Terms of Service.
2. Scope
This policy applies to the Vezlo iOS app, account and sleeve archive, manual condition cards, coin purchases, and support communications. The webpage displaying this policy is a static document and uses no cookies, analytics, or tracking.
3. Information We Collect
We collect the categories below for the stated purposes. Camera, photo library, and microphone access applies only when you use the corresponding feature and grant permission. Tracking permission is separate and optional.
| Category | Examples | Source | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Device archive identity | A random installation UUID and short-lived archive session token; no email address or password | Generated by the app and stored in the iOS Keychain and local app storage | Open the device archive, prevent duplicate operations, and recover verified purchases | Until you use Delete Local Archive Data or remove the app; limited transaction recovery records may remain as described below |
| Sleeve and condition metadata | Record label, catalog number, purchase date, shelf location, protective cover, saved photo filenames, manual damage coordinates/type/severity, voice-note presence, condition cards, and care actions | You enter, photograph, mark, or save the details | Organize sleeves, compare inspections, and maintain a dated care history. New profile and condition-card metadata is submitted only while Submit archive metadata is enabled. | Local data remains until you delete it. Submitted metadata follows the archive-service retention period or a verified deletion request. |
| Camera and photo library content | Selected photos of a sleeve's front, back, spine, and corners, including earlier comparison photos | You capture or choose images after granting access | Create condition cards and compare visible wear over time | Unsaved images are discarded when the action ends; saved images follow the sleeve-record period |
| Microphone content | Optional spoken notes about a sleeve's condition | You record a note after granting access | Attach context to a sleeve record | Unsaved audio is discarded when the action ends; saved notes follow the sleeve-record period |
| Device and usage information | Device type, app version, IP address, timestamps, error events, feature-use events, and coin-use events | Collected automatically as you use the app | Operate and secure the service, maintain coin balances, fulfill features, and diagnose faults | Operational logs for up to 90 days |
| Optional tracking information | Advertising identifier and offer interaction or attribution events, only if an optional offer measurement feature is enabled and you allow tracking | Collected after an iOS tracking permission choice | Measure optional record-collecting offers | No current collection; if enabled with consent, events are retained for up to 90 days |
| Purchase records | Apple purchase-success receipt, product identifier, transaction status, and coin balance | Apple and the app | Deliver coins, prevent duplicate fulfillment, and meet recordkeeping duties | While the account is active; required transaction records for up to 7 years where law requires |
| Support communications | Email address, message, attachments you send, and our reply | You contact us | Answer requests and document resolution | Up to 24 months after the last exchange, unless a legal claim requires longer |
Vezlo does not request contacts, precise location, or health information. We do not receive payment card numbers or your Apple ID password. Please avoid including unrelated personal information in sleeve photos or notes.
4. Account Information
Vezlo currently opens a device archive without email registration or a password. The app sends the random installation UUID, app version, and archive session token to the configured archive service. Your profile, records, photos, recordings, reports, and cached service responses are also stored locally on your iPhone.
When Submit archive metadata is enabled, the app may submit profile fields and condition-card metadata: release details, local photo filenames, confirmed damage coordinates/type/severity, voice-note presence, and idempotency operation IDs. The app does not upload the photo or audio file contents through this setting. Turn the setting off to stop new profile and condition-card submissions. Delete Local Archive Data removes reachable local archive data, photos, recordings, reports, caches, notification requests, and the installation UUID; verified Apple transaction recovery records are retained only to prevent duplicate coin delivery.
5. How We Use Information and Legal Bases
Where a legal basis is required, each use rests on the basis stated here:
- Performance of a contract: register and sign in to your account, store sleeve records and saved notes, provide comparisons and a care timeline, maintain coin balances, and fulfill purchases.
- Consent: access selected camera images, photo library images, or microphone recordings and, if later enabled, measure optional offers using tracking information. You may withdraw consent.
- Legitimate interests: protect accounts, prevent misuse and duplicate purchase fulfillment, diagnose errors, and respond to support requests, balanced against your rights.
- Legal obligations: maintain records required for tax and accounting, respond to valid privacy requests, and comply with lawful requests from authorities.
6. Manual Condition Records
Vezlo does not use automated or AI-based damage analysis. You decide which sleeve areas to mark, select the damage type and severity, and confirm every condition record. Photos and spoken-note files remain on your iPhone unless you explicitly share an export. Condition metadata may be submitted only under the control described in Section 4.
7. How We Share Information
Vezlo uses a configured archive service for device sessions, business configuration, optional metadata submission, coin operations, and purchase delivery. We disclose information only to these named services for their stated roles:
- Apple: processes one-time in-app purchases and sends purchase-success information used to credit coins; iOS also controls permission choices.
We may also disclose information at your direction, when law requires it, to protect users or the service from fraud or harm, or in a merger or acquisition with appropriate safeguards and notice where required. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
8. Tracking and Advertising
Vezlo may display an iOS tracking permission request for optional record-collecting offers. At present, Vezlo does not collect activity across other companies' apps or websites or send an advertising identifier to an ad network. If offer measurement is introduced, we will first identify what activity is measured and its recipient in an updated policy, then request iOS App Tracking Transparency permission before collecting it. Without that permission, no cross-app or cross-site tracking occurs. Sleeve archive and care features do not depend on tracking.
You can deny or later change tracking permission in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking > Vezlo. We do not use tracking information to target ads across contexts, and we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
9. Payments
Coins are used for in-app archive and care features, including condition-card filing, spoken-note storage, comparison sessions, care-plan refreshes, collector reports, monthly challenges, and permanent theme unlocks. The app shows the coin cost before each action. Coins are sold only through one-time consumable in-app purchases processed by Apple. Vezlo receives a purchase-success receipt and transaction status to credit coins and maintain your balance, but not your card number or Apple ID password. Apple handles payment and refund requests under App Store policies, without limiting mandatory rights under applicable law.
10. Data Retention
The table in Section 3 states the period for each category. Local captures and recordings remain until you remove them with the in-app local-data control or uninstall the app. Submitted archive metadata remains until deletion is acknowledged by the archive service. Operational logs are kept for no more than 90 days; no tracking events are currently collected. Support emails are kept for no more than 24 months after the last exchange. Required transaction records may be kept for up to 7 years where law requires. At the end of a period, we delete or de-identify data unless mandatory retention or a legal hold applies.
11. International Transfers
Vezlo and Apple may process data in the United States or other countries outside your place of residence. Privacy laws there may differ. Where transfers of European Economic Area or United Kingdom personal data need a legal transfer mechanism, we use applicable standard contractual clauses or another lawful safeguard and provide information about it on request.
12. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may request access to, correction, deletion, or export of your information and withdraw consent for optional processing. You can turn off metadata submission and use Delete Local Archive Data from the reachable Privacy screen. You can revoke camera, photo library, microphone, or notification access in iOS Settings.
People in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom may also request restriction of processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and complain to a data protection authority. People in California or other United States states with applicable rights may request to know what we collect and disclose, request deletion or correction, and opt out of any sale, sharing, or targeted advertising where such processing exists. We currently do not sell or share data for targeted advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising rights. You may use an authorized agent where law permits and appeal a denied request where an appeal right applies.
Send a request to Vezlo@gmail.com with the subject "Vezlo - Privacy Inquiry" or use the relevant in-app control. We may verify your identity before responding. We aim to respond within 30 days, or within 45 days for California requests, subject to legally permitted extensions. The local-data control acts immediately on the iPhone where it is used; server deletion requires a separate acknowledged request.
13. Security
Vezlo uses encryption in transit, access controls for server records, and limits access to information needed to operate and support the service. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If you suspect unauthorized account access, contact us promptly.
14. Children's Privacy
Vezlo is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information. If we learn that a user is under 13, we will promptly delete the account and associated personal information except where limited retention is legally required. Parents or guardians may contact us about a child's data.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when Vezlo, data practices, or applicable law changes. We will update the Last updated date above and give in-app notice before a material change takes effect where required. If a new processing purpose requires consent, we will request it before that processing begins.
